In honor of All Hallow's Eve, I'm inviting trick-or-treaters to my 'door.' Comment "trick-or-treat" to this post and...well, you know the drill. Treats can be anything that strikes my fancy (pics of fave actors or pairings, one sentence fics, graphics, a few words why I'm glad to have you on my flist, etc. etc.).

I'm going to eat some cupcakes and plow through library books. It's a beautiful day after last night's insane storms.

Interesting! Anime is totally foreign to me, although I've seen the odd bit here and there. Maybe you could recommend me some? Anything that moves slowly and isn't all-action all the time, or anything that is just stunning to look at will likely get my attention!

Well, Serial Experiment Lain is one of my all time favorite stories. I saw it first over a decade ago and it continues to haunt me. It's a short series, maybe four discs.

Ghost in the Shell is one of the greatest anime action films with a soul ever made. The soundtrack is intense. Beautiful cyberpunk.

Frustratingly, Lovefilm have discs 2 and 4 of Serial Experiment Lain available to rent and 1 and 3 unavailable! Ghost In The Shell they are able to provide however.
