I thought a lot about trying to find something to do for 2014, something that would make me a better person or more creative or more mindful... you know, all those awesome things you see very dedicated people doing. I decided to make little origami cranes, because often doing something with my hands is a good antidote to my continuous anxiety.
Of course this project was derailed by being incredibly, violently ill on New Year's day. So I've decided as long as I end up with the right number at the end, I can do them in batches.
Eventually I hope they will be less clumsy and more graceful. But here are the first four of the year. I think I might keep them all in a giant iced tea jar.

Date: 2014-01-04 08:30 pm (UTC)I celebrated my birthday by getting a prescription for Citalopram. After 2013, I'm determined to have more control over my life in 2014.
Step one = meds. Step two = ? Step three = profit.
