I changed my doctor appointment. The blender arrived. My work schedule was changed this week so I worked Tuesday instead of Friday. Now I don't have to go to work in the ice storm madness tomorrow morning. I'm just going to stay home, read my library books, eat potato soup and drink a lot of coffee.

That sounds like an excellent plan. Friday is my knitting group, but in addition to the crazies on the road, I currently have a loaner from MINI because Rick's car is in the shop, so the vehicle I'm driving is sitting outside accumulating ice right now. (They gave me a Paceman, which won't fit in the garage spot that was designed, to the inch, for a Cooper.) I'd been hoping I could still go to knitting if I took surface streets the whole way, but now I'm thinking probably not.
