in dreams

I suspect it must be a side effect of the medication I'm taking. Otherwise I don't know what could have kicked it all off recently. I'm sleeping and that's fine. But I'm dreaming such narrative driven, vivid dreams. Most of them involve people I know. Quite a lot of them involve ghosts or a specter of some dread. There are always beautiful houses with floor to ceiling windows, lots of stairs. They are hard to shake. Often if I wake in the early hours before dawn I can slip back into a blank slumber. But now I just go back into this dream world of unfamiliar landscapes. They stay with me when I wake, those window walls and the emotions.

I've been having the most spectacular dreams lately, too. I can never remember the details, but they're long and detailed and I always wake up feeling like I've just watched a movie. I'm totally blaming the meds I'm taking.
