The internet does a really good job of convincing me that I'm not the isolated freak case I so long thought myself to be. Especially when it comes to weird phobias, textural loathing and acne. I do want to punch the person who told me I would not have acne after I got past my teen years. The zit on my chin says otherwise. Lately my skin is terrible for reasons I can't discern - I'm pretty good about washing my face and I'm drinking more water and I quite smoking three months ago. I go to the gym at least four times a week. I'm only drinking once a week and I'm trying to eat better. Ugh.

Stress, maybe?

I still break out from time to time for no apparent reason. I'm pretty scrupulous about skin care, too - just one of those things, I suppose. -_-

I thought one day this would magically stop happening. SIGH. WOE.

I've gotten the impression that sometimes when you change your eating habits for the better (or do a fast), your body will flush out toxins and you'll get a case of wicked acne for a bit while that's going on... not sure if that's what's happening, but if so the acne might actually be a good sign. Here's hoping!

If I'm getting acne because I gave up binge eating Cheetos, I am writing somebody an angry letter. That's just unfair!
