sloe gin eyed girl, I read once

Drinking vodka on an empty stomach hurts. I'd forgotten that I've only eaten toast today, and spent hours chasing away the shaky sense of depth. Came home, and spent some time wondering about the girl in the bathroom, black eye makeup and hair slicked down.

Had a conversation on the porch about reading as a kid, VC Andrews, Christopher Pike and Lois Duncan. All that stuff our parents didn't realize was so bizarre, beside the Babysitters' Club and Sweet Valley High.

Several people complimented me on the wig. I wish I was found attractive without resorting to plastic hair and push up bras. Saw some good costumes, Cat Woman, Eloise, a Devil, the woman from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Lots of liquor, though I left before the drugs came out.

It's chilly outside, for Texas anyways. 59 degrees. I think I will peel off my clothes, scrub my face and curl up in my blankets.
