My mother made steaks for us, with mushrooms and green onions. It's been a good day for food. We sat around and talked a little, I played with the puppy. While I was throwing the tennis ball, our little orange cat leaped out of the tree and landed right on the dog. He likes the tennis ball too.

It was so random. I didn't expect the cat to leap out of the tree, but I forgot how much he likes to chase the tennis ball. (Even if he can't quite bring it back like the dog.)

A little while later I was throwing the ball and both animals would race after it. Quite an amusing site, a five pound cat and a seventy pound dog chasing a tennis ball.
