yuletide noms

I did my nomination first thing today. Got in the wives and Lady Beatrice for Crimson Peak, as well as my Firewatch Jam and ladies from Morgan. Really hoping someone else saw this movie. The reviews are terrible, which is a shame. I don't think it's terrible. It's short, so it cries out for fic and more depth.

Officially on vacation for a week now.

Morgan, the film from Ridley Scott's kid Luke. It has Kate Mara, and is about AI, which was all I needed. I liked it. There's some weakness, but it really is very short and I think that's why.

Yeah it got very little press! And I think it's much better than the bad reviews would lead one to believe. There's room for an interesting world. Also bonus points for it not being all white dudes.
