the ethics of punching your friends

threeplusfireMy arm felt sore yesterday, from punching George. I should practice more often I guess. Funny how you have some friends you can playfully swat, and others you can't. I remember punching one of my friends in a moment of hilarity, and how she squeaked, "Ow! What did you do that for?" I felt momentary sadness, realizing she had mistaken my playful intent. It's nice to have a few friends you can be silly with.
I hate it when I wake up and realize I forgot to actually turn my alarm on after setting it. But it worked out this morning, and I rode to school with Melynda in her father's luxury sedan. That family has so many cars, it boggles the mind. Melynda might drive back to Houston to get a new car and sell her old one. We discussed our relaxing weekend activities in Metro this morning, and she updated me on the intricate details of college football.
A bird flew into Metro today, and we watched Greg chase it around until it flew out. A great start to the day.
Apparently the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic will be here Wednesday morning. Wow! Hana's office is being completely redone, and all sorts of fancy preparations are in the works.
Off work at 10pm tonight, perhaps I will go to the grocery store. Maybe go out and play.
