DENMARK: EUROVISION 2001

Each of 23 countries contributes a pop song for judging today, each
song already having won in the individual national finals. The
country to beat this year is the host country Denmark, whose win in
2000 was their first in 37 years. Tickets for the event sold out
quickly but the contest is televised internationally.

my plant

Bought some strawberries this morning, boxes of perfectly red berries. Mmm. This is one of my favorite things about summer, the berries and the fruits.

It wasn't enough to kill my poor airplane plant, the damn cat had to bite me. I have nasty puncture wounds in the side of my hand and I'm tempted to keep her on the balcony for the afternoon. My poor plant. *sigh* I've had that plant for years. Terrible that I'm about to cry over a plant, but I really did care very much for it. It was pretty in a quiet way, and made me happier.

Listening to my Mansfield cd, wishing they would get a deal and cut a few more albums. This cd is so good, and not just because I know Jeff. It's genuine rock music, excellent music and good lyrics. It is good.

Spent the evening at Deb's eating fried rice and playing Crazy Taxi on her new Dreamcast. Wheee that game is fun!!

Two weeks and I will be on a plane to Prague....
