I lost them on the bridge last night, somewhere in the crowd. It didn't bother me too much, since our group had somehow hooked up with some British medical students. One of them was discussing the gynecologial examination of a 14 year-old girl he did this week, and how "hot" the girl was. Ugh. No thank you, I don't think I'll be drinking with you.

But things were alright, because I just walked over bridges in the dark, listening to the people around me and the random musicians and the sound of the Vltava.

At breakfast this morning, I sat down beside Hana and Craig squinted at me for a moment before he recognized me. "Great haircut!" he exclaimed. That made my day. Also, he found me a beautiful old Bible in an antikavariat somewhere nearby. It was published in 1942 in Prague. Tomorrow he is taking us out to the bone church.

Today I think I'll wander around the Castle and look up some new cathedrals. There is a convent nearby, I keep seeing monks and nuns on the street, in their dark clothes.

I want to sing along with the radio... they're playing Shakespeare's Sister "Stay" right now. I heard this in the mountains in Moravia, when I first started getting sick and scared.
