afternoons in the shade
Jul. 31st, 2001 05:00 pmSaw Melynda for the first time in many days. She's been so flighty lately. Missing all the fun stuff happening around the house. She's driving back to Houston again tonight.
Karen and I swam for a couple hours this afternoon. Amazing how much cooler it feels when it's below 100 degrees. Played silly games in the pool and smoked Camels while we talked about boys and random things. I think I've decided what I'm going to have tattooed on my ankle. We'll go to Atomic sometime, for tattoos and piercings. She's going to get an interesting tongue piercing.
Eating push-up pops, listening to Russian songs, waiting for my turn to wash the chlorine out of my hair. Going to Metro tonight for coffee and mah-johngg playing. If you're looking for me, I will be there.
