reflections on last night
Aug. 1st, 2001 03:49 pm"Humor must have its background of seriousness. Without this contrast there comes none of that incongruity which is the mainspring of laughter."
-- Max Beerbohm
I have been told I'm too serious. Sometimes, I probably am. But most of the time, it's a good thing. Someone needs to be, and I am happy to be that person.
Last night I was upset, probably out of proportion to the actual offense. I missed my morning round of medication, so I was most likely off balance a bit anyways. Regardless of the contributing factors, it was still a fairly unpleasant experience.
I'm only apologizing to myself for writing a semi-hysterical, overwrought journal entry. Not for my feelings, or to anyone else.
