those chairs

Sat in Metro tonight, and wrote many pages. Talked a little with Jim and Clockwork and Melynda at different times. Right now we're home and coloring Melynda's hair. We all feel the need to do something drastic, and hair color is somehow safe.

I've made a decision about some things in my private life, and even though I pray it will never need to happen, I feel better knowing what I will do.

This morning the light was strange and golden int he wya of sunsets but all different because it was the wrong side of the sky and the wrong color... almost sepia. Over the trees I could see the bright red disk rising just below a line of black clouds. When the thunderclap came, I was startled. Rain started, and still I could see the red disk in the sky. Eerie image.

Driving to the bus stop, I saw ghost rainbows. Bands of pale light, almost totally washed out, and all three were converging somewhere below my line of sight.

Grey outside now, and wet.
