Spent the afternoon at the pool with Kevin, talking and playing in the water. We seem so much older, catching up on how all of our lives had changed. Introduced him to Gene, whom he likes very much. They got along well of course. Tired and happy, I am attempting to get some work done.

My grandparents are in town, so I spent the afternoon at my mother's house with them. It is so good to see them, even if they seem a bit dismayed at the prospect of my leaving th country for some amount of time.

Gene taught me how to do math all over again tonight, so I feel slightly more confident of my ability to pass astronomy. It was much more fun to learn how to make a paper crane.
