Sep. 2nd, 2002 11:24 pmSome of the raw edge of the past few days has let up. Down to a dull roar, it is a bit easier to deal with.
Passed a pleasant evening at Metro and the apartment with Gene and Melynda. Played Shanghai Rummy and even won, managed to find my first year Russian textbooks, picked up some little things from the house. Gene killed a "pre-Cambrian" cockroach in the living room, the kind of bug that Razorart loathes.

You can't stand it when things don't work out the way you expect them to. Ideally, you would like to see a beginning, middle and end, but you may be looking at a circle right now instead of a straight line. Your instincts tell you to grab onto that which is tangible. Follow whatever guidelines your intuition tells you to follow.
