Reading a French novel and drinking on the porch, watching the yellow moon rise, the lizards creeping along near the ceiling, my glass cold and my feet propped up on a chair... yes, exactly as it was meant to be right now.

things I like about you today

-the way you stuck my hat on before you ran out to the car this morning.

-watching you want back to the apartment, barefoot, in jeans and a tshirt

-the fact that you really can't iron well, despite your collection of nice clothes

-your cursing while you wander the apartment looking for something

-that look you give me, when we're both trying to decide who is being more sarcastic

-the way you laugh
