Dec. 11th, 2002 08:45 pmThank the gods and James, because my baby works again. Updates on what it was like to go two days without my laptop coming later.

days without connection
Dec. 11th, 2002 11:45 pmWithout my computer, I can not tell time, write coherent journal entries, read eight newspapers, look for jobs, indulge in my mad habits and communicate with a large number of people.
In short, I've been as cranky as an addict looking for a fix. It has been a very long two days.
On the bright side, I suppose, I did a lot of drinking, did most of my Christmas shopping, and the cigarette fairy was in the bar last night. I also had exceptional Thai food, which always makes me happy.
I have however, read 360 journal entries on my friends list, and about 75 in LumosNox. There were around 150 emails to be read.
But it is working. And though I can not get the disc to upgrade my OS to work, I am very, very relieved.
