Matrix Reloaded
May. 16th, 2003 01:14 amSo I saw it today and the movie has reduced me to Orlando Bloom levels of incoherency. All I could say for an hour was "Wow, fuck, oh my god, aaaa!" and variations on that theme. Driving was a bit mad, as I kept envisioning the car chase sequences and worrying that some scary Secret Agent Man would drop onto my hood. Totally manic for about three hours afterwards, so manic in fact that I have a ticket to go see it tomorrow at 10:20am with British Boy. He was annoyed because they wouldn't let him have the night off to drive up and see it with his friends in Dallas, so I convinced him to go in the morning instead.
The music suited the moments well, and was rather understated and perfect in spots. The scene where Neo meets the Architect, programs hacking programs, the eighty billion Smiths, and just wow. The scene between Neo and Trinity as the party goes on was one of the neatest things I've seen in awhile, because I liked the way it was edited and the shots of Trinity's face. Plus, Keanu Reeves was actually acting! Wow!
Wearing my hair slicked back earned me many compliments today. I'm going to do this more often.
It's a long time til December. Damn.
Previews were eh. Cool Pirates of the Carribean, and a preview to prove the horror film franchise has truly gone sour, Jason Vs Freddy. It looked as bad bad bad. And Tom Cruise as the last samurai? So not believable.
Seeing it again in nine hours!
