Reloaded deux

threeplusfireAgain this morning, and it weirds me out just as much as yesterday. Makes me wish I knew more about numbers and gnosticism and all the mad crazy stuff that's referenced in the film. Programs hacking programs and I don't know if I will ever sleep soundly with these thoughts in the back of my mind.
The Merovingian's speech on the power of the reason why, and control or lack thereof in the universe has unhinged me honestly. It's scary and creepy as hell for purely private reasons and I find it one of the most disturbing moments of the film.
When Trinity is wrapped around Neo, after telling him she won't ever let go, the camera pulls back and the way she is laying is not only very pretty and artistic, but I think it underscores the emotional vulnerability of their characters. It's as close as one body can get to another, at least until later in the film.
Paul Oakenfold rocks my little world. The credits are full of people. And the preview at the end? Oh. My. God.
Still having trouble being coherent about this film, and about what I think is going on and why it's like this. Matrix within matrix within matrix.
The part about choices being made at an unconscious level, and what you have to do now is understand your choice? That's me. That part punched me so hard in the chest that I still haven't recovered. Because I think about that every day, and maybe I would not have phrased it like that, but yes. It's the crux of all my madness, and not an answer.

I heard about the second, and thought, "this sounds stupid, it's going to suck."
But this makes me feel like it might be worth seeing.
