Me: Going to work tomorrow night.
Wes: You have a car?
Me: Yeah.
Wes: Want to go pick up Animatrix?
Me: What?
Wes: Animatrix?
Me: Oh! I thought you asked if I wanted to go pick up anime chicks.

Obviously, it is time to go to bed.

This bit from The Animatrix that is the prequel to the world of the Matrix is seriously scary and disturbing. The rise of the machines, the foolishness of man, and the ultimate doom of the world... I want to cry for what a horrible, mad vision this is. This disc is brilliant, altogether.

We also picked up Brotherhood of the Wolf and The 30th Anniversary edition of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.

showering down

It is raining outside, so I guess that makes it appropriate. It's grey, grey, grey and cool. Not quite summer. But free water is nice, even if it means my feet get wet walking to the car. I like waking up to the half light of a grey day best anyhow. Easier on the eyes.

But I like the shower meme more than the usual surveys because it lets me see what sorts of things people are led to wonder about me from reading my journal.
