flight reflex
Sep. 17th, 2003 12:19 amI am so bored at work I could scream. Other than laughing hysterically at the images of First American Sloth Man and the GeoSwan battling it out, work has been rather lackluster. It's become an endurance test more than anything else. If I wasn't getting married, I think I would persuade my British dancing partner to get me a job teaching Nouveau Rusky kids in the land of dachas and get out of here.
My fight or flight reflex is a bit sensitive these days. I feel it coming on for the stupidest damn things. I think it's the adjustment to a new sort of living, of using different pronouns, worrying about two paychecks and someone else's spending habits and phone bills and who knows what else. It's not bad, just difficult in some ways for a person so used to fiercely staking out individual turf.
