tuna and scallops
Jan. 26th, 2004 01:21 pmYesterday was our feast of seafood, having picked up a pound of ahi tuna and a pint of fresh sea scallops at Quality Seafood Market. Alan made pepper seared ahi, which was the first thing he ever cooked for me and the item that made me decide I should be dating this man. He also broiled the scallops in engllish muffin crumbs and made a lemon cream sauce. We stuffed ourselves, for which I refuse to feel bad about because it was all so delicious.
I crashed out ridiculously early, being more tired than I thought. Confused dreaming didn't help. Woke up early and kept rolling over to hide my head until nearly noon. Spent some time cleaning up the kitchen, as Alan is the type of person who will dirty every dish in the house to make one thing.
