Dear Amanda,

The Grande family loves you so much that on February 14th we will increase your internet speed at no additional cost to you! Instead of recieving download speeds of up to 2.5Mbps, you will now enjoy download speeds of up to 4.0Mbps. That's right, from now on you will experience a much faster speed at the same great price.

Thank you for being part of the Grande Family!

It's even on a red, white and pink card. How cool is that? The price is excellent, nor do I have to deal with evil Time Warner. Rock on.

The mushroom samba episode of Cowboy Bebop is so weird.

We laid around last night before we went to sleep talking about world structure and societies and such. Alan's working on something much more complicated than I am, and I don't envy him. I'm not really sure how we both slept til 3 this afternoon, but the cat woke us up. It meowed and sat on us until I got up to feed the poor beast. I remember waking up once with a splitting headache and burying my head under a pillow, lots of weird dreams about trying to stop the end of the world and accidentally killing a clerk in a cd store. Who knows.

Somehow, Alan managed to arrange reservations for dinner on Sunday night at Eddie V's. He has strange powers for this kind of thing. I feel bad about not letting him surprise me with it, but I can only take so much taunting. I'm just not good with surprises in general, being a bit too much of a control freak. Nor can I keep surprises. The minute I buy someone a gift I want to run out and give it to them.

Anyhow, I really like the restaraunt. I've only ever been once, to the northwest location. But it was surprisingly affordable for being such a swanky place. Now I just have to decide which one of the dozen pairs of cool shoes I should wear.

I told Alan he didn't need to do anything fancy for Valentines, because I've just stopped caring so much over the years. It's very sweet of him though, and I really do appreciate it.

How have I missed the joys of Launchcast for so long? This makes work oh so much easier. No more listening to Curtis or Norris mangle whatever music is playing in the office, or listening to anyone's loud cell phone conversations. Yay headphones! I can't stop yawning though. I feel so tired and I've not done a thing. Laundry calls, despite the rainy weather.
