I found a $9,200 painting I want to buy. I should really start making more money if I'm going to be like this. I should also convince myself to buy a $40 print instead. Oh, but damn. I would really love to own an original piece by Michael Whelan, especially one of the dragon covers he did for Melanie Rawn. Tha painting in question is titled "Lord Protector" and was the cover to Sunrunner's Fire.

Went to the bar after work, which was better than I expected. Alonzo sang a Prince song, I talked about Audrey Hepburn, and we went home.

The cat is very fiesty this morning. I should probbaly trim his nails before he does serious damage to one of us.

damn the pipes

The pipes under the sink are leaking, and have been for about a week now. I wondered why the bathroom rug kept getting soaked. Damn it.

Currently watching Robot Wars on Tech TV and recovering from an enormous Chinese lunch. Going to Metro tonight.
