I have to say, the news story about the pregnant woman who fought off and killed her attacker makes me want to shout, "Hurrah for motherhood!" I've read enough stories about women killed and their children stolen away. I'm glad to see someone fought back and got away.

Alan's funny. He brought me a beautiful card that he snatched out of the Valentines section. Very romantic, very lovely colors. The only thing is, it says Happy Birthday across the front. Hee.

I have a box of truffles which I am endeavouring not to eat all at once. I had three. I must put them away now. oh but they are good.
