It's superbly beautiful outside. But working Saturday isn't so bad. I feel like I've accomplished a lot with my calls today.

Tonight, I'm going to play a game of cards at Metro hopefully, or just chat with Rachel. Then it's home to do some work on my new character. I'm still mulling over possible names for him. Locknestra has drawn me into the delights of evil RP once more.

A gorgeous day outside, and a fairly calm one within. I love, love, love the small town law enforcement folks who call me. They're funny and they know everything. It makes those reports smooth.

I had a drink with Rachel at Metro. We rambled about various subjects and laughed at some just random outfit choices. I thought that girl was going to break her ankle swinging it across the pavement in those heels. It was truly amazing.

A rat wandering in a mechanical room at the University of Texas caused the electrical short that shut down power to the entire campus for nearly an hour Thursday night. -Statesman

That rat cost UT $70,000. Gah. I think the campus should adopt some cats.
