Jun. 1st, 2005 09:31 pmI had an utterly bizarre realization or two today, none of which are all that important. Still it was disenchanting on some level.
I completely do not understand people who allow known sex offenders to stay in their homes. It just makes no sense to me. Especially if said sex offender already assaulted your child once before. No sense at all. It just made me feel vicious and angry.
The call volume was low, but there were a lot of ugly, sad calls. The last one was especially rough.
Randomly - we have really fantastic champagne dill mustard. Yay mustard.
There was a gathering of BPAL folk locally, but by the time I got off work there was no way I could get south of the river to make it in any reasonable time. I really wanted to go, but they scheduled for 6pm and I don't get off til 6:30pm most days. The traffic heading south is still rough at that time of day. Oh well. Maybe another time.
