Last night I watched Sarah and Tyler get tattoos. It was much fun. They are both fine, fine tattoos. In the end, Tyler's side was rather painful so I drove home. Still getting used to the shift on that car.

Today, I'm getting a tattoo. I would have gotten one last night, but there was not time.

Well, in the spirit of our wacky adventures, I went today to get my second tattoo. I am so pleased. It definitely hurt less than the first one, as seen in the icon of my right ankle. My new tattoo is on the inside of my left leg, just about the ankle. It's the key to Hell, as pictured in Sandman. I've been wanting it for some time now, and it just seemed the right time. It has a lot of perosnal symbolism for me, and it seems completely appropriate for this time and place. I'm very happy. I had a cute tattoo girl and it turned out she lived in the same co-op as Tyler way back when. Tyler distracted me by talking about Warcraft while I tried to hold still. This was more like scraping that the agony of the one on my ankle.

So happy, a bit giddy, so ready to kick back on the sofa.
