I think Soda Patrol is a great band name. They would be the slightly poppy, synth cousins of Snow Patrol. Ah, the wonder of roadside signs.

Tyler and I are currently ensconced at Metro with out laptops. From time to time we laugh or curse and share the glories of the interweb. It's a good friendship.

Earlier today we ate lunch at Kerbey with Sarah. There was much snark to be had, from brainless blonde bitches who demand tables when there are twenty people waiting ahead of them to slutty new UT students who wear shorts that expose their hip bones and the lower curve of their buttocks. Well, at least there was the group of roller derbey lesbians to lighten the mood.

Tyler and I walked to Urban Outfitters and determined they had nothing worthwhile. We watched the fire department test the hydrants on Guadalupe and there was much water. It's brutally hot out there, over a hundred. I wanted to play in the water but I think they would have frowned on that.

Hands down, best add all year in the Chronicle. I love to read the Variations section. Too often it's dull adds for swingers and married people looking for affairs. But every now and then you see someone with some wit, and it is joyful.
