I fire this week

This week is so fired. The holiday schedule came out at work. Now I offered to work during Thanksgiving and Christmas, so that I could have New Years Eve and New Years Day off work. It seems reasonable to me. I don't have kids, I'm not going anywhere. I felt good about it.
I'm scheduled to work overnight shifts on both New Years Eve and New Years. Overnight shifts where there is no way I'm going to even get off work early enough to hit a bar. Zmrde!
I mean really. This is such crap and I doubt there is a damn thing I can do about it.
