let's get happy
Oct. 24th, 2005 08:16 amYou should probably just read Sarah's post because it sums everything up so brilliantly about the greatest awful movie I have ever in my life seen, the incomparable Gypsy 83.
You have to understand, I grew up listening to Stevie Nicks records over and over. My dad had a thing for Stevie Nicks. Now we have this fabulous movie with Stevie Nicks impersonators, goth kids in Ohio, a confused Amish fellow, sex in restrooms at a rest stop, eyeliner galore, and more hilarious lines than you can possibly imagine! I have to keep this movie.
Yesterday was cold with a blue sky that seared your eyes. The wind kicked up out of nowhere and I think there are still knots in my hair. I spent most of the day outside, which was good. Then there was West Wing to watch over at Tyler's. When we realized it was all Rome re-runs, we watched Moulin Rouge. I cry even when I try not to cry. The end makes me so sad. Sometime in the evening I fell asleep on the sofa here.
