as I fall away
Oct. 25th, 2005 09:53 amThe weather turned over the weekend, and the wind pulled hard at our hair and the trees on Sunday. By the time the sun sank down you could tell the temperature was dropping. Tyler and I froze our feet on the balcony late at night, smoking and trying not to set thigns on fire in the ridiculous wind.
Yesterday it was warm in the sun, and the wind was gone. We went and voted on bond issues and state constitutional things. I am hoping for a miracle, that may the ammendment banning gay marriage and civil unions will be defeated.
It's still chilly. Time to break out the boots and socks on a regular basis, maybe unpack my wedding china to get to some of my sweaters. Cold, cold, cold. But I like it. It means the year is changing. It means I'm still here.
