My thanksgiving day got better. I visited my mother, ate some smoked turkey and some lemon pie. I played WoW, and talked to Gene last night. It was good. No noise from the folks downstairs.

It's quiet, just a tad busier than yesterday. But it's all awful stuff.

how to un-break the internet in easy steps

When the internet breaks, the thing to do is call your friend and complain. Then call the cable company and seethe while some boy describes what 'ping' means because a girl can't possibly know. Unplug and plug modem and router a half dozen times. Call your friend again and get snippy and worked up because you're cranky. Call the cable company again and be filled with rage when they say it's not their fault. Text message your friend because you're too incensed to talk coherently. Randomly burst into tears while talking to your friend when they call back later because your day really was that bad. Spend an hour sitting in the bath tub with a magazine and hating everything because you have a headache from crying. Once you do all of this, the internet will magically turn back on and you will feel like an idiot.
