I saw Brokeback Mountain tonight, at the art house cinema that used to be the movie theater where I saw ridiculous horror movies when I was a kid. I saw a lot of other people crying too, by the time I walked out. I wonder what it was that made it ache for them.

The thing about it, is that we live with so much less than we deserve.
