I watched Only Yesterday, another interesting product of Studio Ghibli. It's an odd, sweet movie. TCM has been running Ghibli films all month it seems and I only just now realized it. What's really odd is that final credits run in Japanese the song that Napolean Dynamite does his little sign language bit with.
Today was peer training again, coaching the new people. It's good work in that it is useful. I have to rein myself in and remember that they are new and scared though. I'm not the most patient person, and I work faster than many other people. They seem very comfortable with me though, and that's good. Getting off at 5:30 is lame though because I have to drive in traffic.
My copy of The Pin-up Art of Kryztof Nemeth was in the mail today! It's such a lovely book. I want to frame the print and hang up the naught librarian in my room. She's delightfully evil. Also in the mail was a present from someone on the BPAL forum that included the most awesome vanilla/mint perfume sample. Heavenly. Yay for good mail.
