In 2002, I took off alone to the Czech Republic. The events of that trip were largely chronicled here on LJ, and in paper notebooks still in boxes somewhere. I wrote up a condensed version of the more difficult moments of that summer to submit for the AC Worst Vacation Contest. Getting mugged, seeing a dead guy and having German security dump my bags out on the floor has to be worth something in the end. Go read!
