It's been a quiet day at work, so I've been shopping for plane tickets in my downtime. It seems most all the prices are about the same. Alas, Jet Blue has nothing affordable for me. Has anyone used Priceline's Name Your Own Price successfully? It's tempting. The site says it should give you results in 60 seconds. But does it just check at that time? Or does it keep checking until it finds you a ticket? I'm tempted by it, but I don't want to accidentally end up purchasing more than one ticket on the interweb. I've checked Cheap Tickets, Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz and Hotwire. If anyone has any other recommendations, I'd love to hear them. It's been too long since I had a nice plane trip.
Everyone seems to be in a state of flux lately. I wonder what it is in the general fabric of the universe that has caused all this.
I had a child death call today that was sad and creepy. There were a lot of them today.
I'm contemplating a pie crust made of tiny bits of nuts, sugar and butter. I've made something similar in the past as a crust for a fudge like treat. I need to practice. My baking skills have been idle for too many months.
In order to deal with all my pent up tension, frustration and general sloth, I've started doing a cardio workout in addition to my small set of yoga moves. I bought
this DVD because everything's divided into actual chapters on the DVD, making it easier to coordinate how long I want to be doing this. It's fast though. I can't pick up dance steps that fast. I have to keep pausing and going back. But it's fun at least. That's all I ask for my suffering with overly perky instructors.
It is time to go home. Yay home.
