happy birthday halloween

So last night, or rather in the very early morning hours today we discovered that Boones Farm makes a wickedly awful "blue" flavor that sort of tasts exactly like a snow cone. I think we should have a trashy summer party next year and serve snow cones made with Boones. I have a bit of a hangover, from drinking the blue stuff along with the Shiner, two Jello shots and way too many cigarettes. A drunk Englishman kept making comments at me, and there was a man with an incredible mullet wig. There was a pinata shaped like an ass, a keg of Shiner, and chocolate cupcakes. The guy hosting the party was dressed as a Mormon, and the party's birthday girl was a nun. One guest actually came as someone celebrating a birthday, and his girlfriend was the cake in a multicolored fluffy dress and ribbons tied onto her fishnets. Chuck was an eyeless, legless leper, and had some terrifying makeup. I teased Harris because there was glitter from some other party still on his suit.

With the hour fall back, we had an extra hour to stay up late. I haven't been to a good party in quite awhile. It made things good. I had no real costume, so I told people I was variations of 80s club kid, Janeanne Garofalo, and Clive from Gypsy 83. I wore my new boots to make me tall, and my feel kind of ache today from it. Sarah managed not to set her wig on fire, and her sparkly cape worked its wonders. Kevin, the man in the wacky plumber costume, turns out to be almost my next door neighbor. Too weird.

My head aches. I think I'm going to lay sideways on the sofa until I summon the energy to clean my room.

Happiness is

Taking a shower with my almond soap, finishing up with the chocolate rose scrub, and then putting on lotion that smells like cake. I am a confection in blue jeans. Happiness.
