ice, indian names, rush
Dec. 1st, 2006 10:01 amTyler's indian name is "he whose bitterness brings laughter to others" according to Melynda. I find this terribly apt. Melynda's name is "she who is in her own world without a map." They are still working on mine, but tentatively I'm "she who likes to throw things." To be fair, I've not thrown anything at anyone in almost two years.
This morning my car was covered in ice, and the door was stuck. I was two minutes late to work, which is possibly only the second or third time I've been late to this job in almost two years. Still, I'm peeved. Being a southerner, I don't own ice scraping tools. I waited until the defrost cleared enough away to drive. Blargh.
In my morning rush I managed to forget my bottle of ibuprofen and the cd I burned to listen to on the drive. Damn it. I wonder if I can find a black cd in this building, because I have my laptop with me... hmm. For work I ended up making caramel chocolate cupcakes. Next time I'll make frosting.
