headache on fire
Apr. 24th, 2008 04:07 pmSometimes I think this headache might never end. I find myself wondering if I slammed my hand in the door if that pain might be welcome respite from the other.
My bank called today. Apparently my new banking cards were mailed to some wildly incorrect address. Fortunately the person who received them contacted USAA and said they were destroying the cards. Unfortunately they are closing my credit card account and ATM card to prevent any disasters until they can put my new card in my hand. The new ones should be here Saturday at the latest. Oh headache.
On a better side, I'm pre-approved for a home loan and I might be able to get back a chunk of money I put into state retirement. Since I don't intend to go back to work for state government if I can help it, I don't feel concerned about cashing out my retirement contribution.
Pomegranate green tea is wonderful cold. Warm, it tastes a little weird in a not pleasant way.
The price of gas jumped something like twenty cents over the past two weeks. I feel relieved that I hardly drive and Mike's hybrid gets such good gas mileage.
