life in bullet points
Jan. 5th, 2009 07:06 pm- Saw the Trans Siberian Orchestra last night. I think it is something I would have enjoyed more as a kid. I do like strings combined with guitar and the second half of the show was interesting. That said, I could do completely without the narration business. It rhymes. Not in a good way. Also, if I can see the curve of where you thigh meets your buttocks from the front, then you need to a) perhaps close your legs b) lower the hemline or c) become a singer for Trans Siberian Orchestra. Seriously, all that prancing in place and windmilling your arms does not equal dancing. I wonder if the people in the front rows had an even more spectacular view - we were way up high on the side.
- I wonder how much it cost to get a permit to set off fireworks inside the Erwin Center. Awesome.
- Jasmine has taken to sleeping on our bed. the downside to this is that she meows loudly and demands petting when I am asleep.
- I coded reviews for a UK based medical tourism site today. Fascinating.
- It is freezing cold here today. I wonder if that is why my back feels like someone tied it into a pretzel.
