(no subject)

I can't count the number of times I'm reading a review where someone has written "wallah!" or "walla!" lately. Unsurprisingly I see this mostly on Wal-Mart and Sam's Club's stuff. This is so petty but it makes me want to jump up and shout It's French you numbskulls, and it's voilà damn it. Though apparently in common English usage the accent mark is dropped. For bonus points, wallah is a Hindi word for worker.

Seriously. I am a product of public education in a state that really doesn't care about providing quality education and even I know that.

In other news, yes, my back still hurts.

rhomboid tendonitis

While I'm unsure exactly how I injured my rhomboid, at least I know what it is now. Our evening was spent in the after hours care clinic. But now I have a burger and something that will hopefully ease the pain.
