suburban dream

Today I haven't left the house, except to take some things out of my car. My car is very dirty from the drive. I laid around and took an afternoon nap. Sometime during the lazing around, I came up with a weird little story idea. It needs some research though. I want to set it in post WWII DC area, in the growing suburbs. I'm flipping through the Life Magazine photo archives with Google, and making a few desultory stabs at researching suburban growth on the internet. Well, it is a good excuse to buy some books anyhow.
