(no subject)

Today was pretty alright. It's Monday and that always feels weird. But work finished without incident, I got a work chore out of the way for the next month, and then there was an afternoon of hanging out with Stacy. There was sushi lunch, with dessert and later a bonus adult beverage time!

Someone had an accident on the only ramp entrance between the last toll road gate and the next highway, so the traffic was all backed up and ridiculous. Later Stacy and I had to take evasive driving maneuvers because a motorcycle officer was blocking off another chunk of access road in a totally different place. I did get to see the chunk of Mopac overpass that was damaged when a tanker truck crashed and burst into flame some months back. There's an interesting color shift on the steel girders and a sort of blistering to the concrete. Apparently they had structural engineers out to make sure it was still safe and the damage is mainly cosmetic. Construction also still proceeds on the office building that went up in flames thanks to that tax hating asshole with a small plane from last year.

I am wearing this Rammstein shirt today and I have to say it makes me feel about twelve again. I miss having a closet of band shirts. Am considering returning to a wardrobe of black, black, black, band shirt, band shirt, etc.
