For the first time in ages, It is cooler outside than inside my little ice box insulated home.

Thinking about hitting up some of the Austin Bakesale for Bastrop today, starting at 10am.

My bake sale haul, courtesy of cash donations to help the Bastrop fire victims-

- citrus cupcake with grapefruit glaze
- Texas shaped shortbread (decorated with marshmallow fondant in the state flag)
- scones with Elgin sausage
- a mini chocolate and cherry cake with cherry frosting

Also got to spend an hour outside in the cooler air and sunshine. If only I had snagged a breakfast taco somewhere, it might have been the perfect morning.
