Dec. 8th, 2011 10:21 amYesterday I made some epic chilli. There's beef and bison and pork. I like this even better than the beef, lamb and pork combination. Plus I filled it with my favorite chipotle roasted tomato salsa, which is a great shortcut step. Also, beer. Chilli should always be made with beer and not beans. Beans are a side dish and don't go in chilli. Actually I'm thinking of making some hominy to go with the chilli tonight. I like the funny softness of hominy.
Right now I wish someone would magically deliver me a fried egg sandwich. Chances are slim, but a dude can dream.
Before I started work I read a crushing Fenris death fic from someone in the DA2 fandom that just tore me into pieces. It is one of those stories I love, all sliced together pieces of lives that combine in one moment. It's good and I didn't quite expect it to make me feel so sad. But it did. It does.
