Mar. 11th, 2012 05:50 pmI noticed while checking into my notifications and such that this will be entry #7,000 here. While it would be nice to mark that even number with something pithy and brilliant, I don't feel it happening. I've started and erased a couple things, and decided it will ultimately be an essay about how the years in which I converted and tried to convince myself I wanted to spend my life as a Catholic woman raising children were some of the most self hating, destructive years of my life. The topic is rather exhausting though and I've already waded through a shitstorm on another forum I belong to this morning. Internet drama is like drinking too much - it seems so fun and hilarious and then you get stuck with the hangover and broken things afterward.
On the brighter side, the sun has finally come out. It's a nice day out there and I spent some time flopped in the new hammock, reading a book about Idina Sackville and getting some vitamin D. I ate an orange and a bunch of olives and some almonds. Planning out my Pi Day pie making and various chores.
