raining outside

Waking up to a tornado watch is a strange thing. I think of tornados as afternoon, evening occurences. Not morning ones. Perhaps I've just never encounted one so early in the day.
Almost finished with my essay. Need to print everything out and pop it into the mail. With such a potentially big award, I should be more motivated. Mostly I'm thinking about the quiche in the oven. Haven't tried to make quiche in ages. It smells so delicious already.
Funny to think the Russian President Putin is in Waco. Of all the Texas places to visit... Waco. Hah. Maybe they can go to the Dr Pepper museum.

Date: 2001-11-15 08:23 pm (UTC)We have a great deal of flooding now, and some tornados. It's been a crazy day. And during all this people were coming up to the store and shopping! I wanted to shout, "What were you thinking, getting out in this weather?!?!"
Would you believe I have never seen a snowstorm? One day I would like to.
