37 degrees

My shoulder aches a bit, probably form sleeping too tightly wrpaped in blankets. It's cold out there, enough that I will wear my winter coat and my furry Russian hat today. I only get to wear them a couple days out of the year in Texas.

Finishing up a paper due today. Living Like a God: The Daily Lives of the Egyptian Gods. Mostly I stare at Alan Rickman and let my thoughts wander over the printer hum.

I have a book with almost the exact same title on my wish list. It sounds interesting! I minored in art history so I could take Egyptology classes, but then they stopped offering them when I became eligible to take 'em. Rats.

The class I'm taking is quite wonderful, because the professor is so enthusiastic. We have some great books too. The book I did my paper on is Daily Life of the Egyptian Gods by Dmitri Meeks and Christine Favard-Meeks. Pretty cool, I recommend it.
